Sigmund Freud can explain my personality in terms of innate motivational drives propelling throughout life. Emphasis on libido a desire for reasoning through sexual gratification is primative placing the unconscious in control of thought processes. I do have desires for pleasures but must maintain control as not everything in life comes as pleasurable. The ebb and flow of happiness and sadness parallels the ebb and flow of chemistry of human personality. In assessing my personality Freud hits the desires humans have but how we combat desires is the next step forward.
