2/8/2017

Today we began discussing the Churchill project and how to use B. F. Skinner’s radical behaviorism to describe and analyze Churchill’s personality. Based on previous classes and our creative ideas we brainstormed ways to make this happen. Our personalities seems to mesh well together each equally capable of contributing.

 

2/15/2017

Today marked understanding when and what is due and began to look into infomercial ideas and a timeline for the project. A relaxing atmosphere allows true ideas and opinions to arise. We all seem comfortable with one another.

 

2/22/2017

We began to looking into specifics for the grant proposal. All busy we indicated personal expectations for timeline.

 

3/2/2017

Today a google doc was created which has allowed mutual constructive input and effort for the Churchill project. With Spring Break coming up we discussed ways to contribute over the break and talked about what we plan to do. Cmon friendships!

 

3/6/2017

Today we learned much about Churchill thanks to the brilliant Connor and began reflecting with B. F. Skinner’s theory. Understanding Churchill’s biography will be paramount in this project in assessing his personality and behavioral influences. History will also be crucial.

Homework has started to be assigned. We plan on watching infomercials together to get a grasp on how to get it done!

 

3/21/2017

Today we outlined who will be doing what for the project. The bibliographical sections will write up information first so the grant proposal and comparison sections have a basis to work with. We also discussed how many pages each we should strive for. And talked about sprang brake~~

We decided to meet after class to review the draft for submission and everyone seems to be working well together with equal dispersion of work.

 

4/15/2017

Continued working on the grant proposal, finishing all the details such as APA format and working on the comments that you had left from the draft.

 

4/21/2017

Once receiving feedback on the draft we realized how much work we still had as the theory wasn't appropriately applied to our research grant proposal. We have taken psychology classes before and understand what constitutes a grant proposal.

 

4/23/2017

We met today and yesterday to plan to film the informercial in addition to submitting the final draft for the grant proposal. One of us had a DSLR so that helped with quality in addition to us all contributing to making a great informerical. It's interesting observing how different personalities influence the way in which a person prefers to work and communicate with others. It's finished!
