The song below was the "song of the summer" as it were for the time that I spent in Buenos Aires. As such, whenever I think or write about my time there (as I do below), this is the song that comes to mind first. For my last semester of undergraduate program, I was able to find two internships in Buenos Aires, Argentina that allowed me to see the very different practice patterns of therapists in this particular South American city. As I have progressed through GW's DPT curriculum, I have often wondered if it would be feasible to establish a type of exchange program between foreign trained therapists and those in the United States so that we may all broaden our understanding not only of the language and cultural differences that may impact/ change the way that we choose to treat certain populations of patients, but also of the use of evidence based practices.
