Over the past few years, I have actively worked to improve on my skills as a leader. This extends from small acts of leadership (directing a conversation in a group project so as to have a more efficienty meeting) to larger acts, such as working to expand on the role of the Cultural Competency chairs within PTSO. However, just as important as leadership skills are the skills required to work with others to acheive a common goal. There have certainly been no shortage of group projects in this program, and I have had multiple opportunities to consider how I perform in this arena, so I have also included a reflection involving my recent self assessment of my leadership /conflict resolution style.
