Under this tab, you will find a quality improvement project which I created for the therapy staff at CHI Baylor St. Luke's hospital in Houston, TX. I decided to create this QIP because I had asked several members of the hospital staff to help me get a better understanding of the difference between malingering and conversion disorder, and their responses overall were fairly vague. I am proud of this presentation because I feel that it helped not only me but also the employees of this hospital to feel more confident about their assertions about the patients who fall into either of the categories and hopefully, lead to more compassionate care of all of these potentially challenging presentations.

I have also included a written artifact in the form of an assignment in which we were asked to integrate patient education and most updated evidence, as a symbol of the critical thinking process that goes into combining these two aspects of delivering care.
