Apart from making pizzas at a childhood ice rink, my only work experience has been within the healthcare industry. I’ve had the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in different healthcare ecosystems such as inpatient, homebased, international rotation and private physician practice care. As somebody with perspectives across the continuum of care, from bedside to “the back office”, I am passionate about intersecting the fundamental needs of patient care with those of the organization.  To me, healthcare doesn’t just encompass ideals of holistic care or organizational profitability. Incorporating aspects such as law, ethics, finance, and quality; healthcare is a system that requires collaborative, integrated and multidimensional organizational structure to work as a well-oil machine. By doing this, you can then ensure quality patient care in every facet measurable through true healthcare outcomes and financial prosperity.
